he's off having a tracheotomy because he can no longer breathe around the thing in his throat. and his legs are swelling, so they think he has a blood clot.

he can't breathe. it takes him forever to walk the stairs to our apartment. i mean, he can't SPEAK because his breathing is so bad. not that he could speak anyway. his voice is completely gone. he coughs and chokes constantly, bringing up fountains of blood, he can't eat or drink because it ends up inhaled, so all his food is injected into a giant tube hanging out of his stomach. the treatments are causing his kidney to fail.
so, yeah. that's how he's doing.

Edit: okay, since everyone seems to have missed the part where I SAID I wasn't pissed that no one noticed I was gone: I DON'T FUCKING CARE ABOUT THAT. I HAVE NOW BOLDED THAT PART FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. I'm pissed off because people who I considered my closest friends are refusing to answer my emails, because I seem to be spending all my damn time listening to people bitch about their problems when I JUST DO NOT GIVE A FUCK RIGHT NOW, and because said supposed closest friends are doing various other things to remind me over and over again about how no much time, effort and love I put into our relationships, I don't matter one goddamn bit to them.
For the two of you who noticed I was gone, I undeleted because I'm anticipating an email from someone via LJ within the next week or so.
For the rest of you, I deleted my journal about a month ago. No one really noticed, nor did I expect them to.
Apparently this whole month has been "remind molly that she's worthless and means nothing to anyone" month. (not because nobody noticed my journal being gone; i wouldn't have noticed either.) everyone i care about hates me.

the stupid cat leapt onto my face last night and landed squarely on my left eye with all her weight, and i mean directly on the eyeball itself. it hurts to blink.
my dad's doing horribly. not that anyone's asked after him.
good to see you all again. i'll be around for as long as it takes for that email to arrive, or a week, whichever comes first, because god only knows if it'll come at all. wouldn't surprise me.
